Family Financial Specialist

Position Description

About Family Reimagined

Family Reimagined is redesigning the way Australian families navigate separation.

Rather than families trying to coordinate lawyers, accountants, mediators, counsellors and financial advisers on their own, we provide one coordinated team that supports them through every stage of separation.

Our purpose is simple: help families transition into two successful households while protecting children's wellbeing, reducing conflict and empowering parents to make informed decisions.

This is not a traditional accounting or financial planning role. It is a collaborative, family-focused position that combines financial analysis, education, planning and problem solving.

The Role

As a Family Financial Transition Specialist, you will guide separating families through one of the most financially significant periods of their lives.

Working alongside the Family Redesign Specialist, you will help both parents understand their current financial position, explore future possibilities and develop practical financial solutions that enable each household to move forward with confidence.

You are not there to advocate for one parent over the other. Your role is to help both parents / individuals understand their financial reality, identify options and support informed decision-making for transition to two sustainable households.

Families should leave understanding not only one possible outcome, but a range of practical options.
