Family Transition Coordinator
Position Description
About Family Reimagined
Family Reimagined is redesigning the way Australian families navigate separation.
Rather than families trying to coordinate lawyers, accountants, counsellors, parenting specialists and financial professionals themselves, we provide one coordinated team that supports them from initial separation through to implementation and beyond.
The Family Transition Coordinator is the family's primary point of contact and the owner of the family's transition process.
This role manages the process—not the parenting, financial or legal outcomes.
The Role
The Family Transition Coordinator is responsible for ensuring every family's transition is organised, coordinated and progressing.
You own the family's digital workspace, coordinate the specialist team, monitor progress against the Family Transition Roadmap and ensure every meeting, decision, action and document is captured and followed through.
You are responsible for creating a seamless experience so families always know what comes next and never feel they are navigating separation alone.
Much of this role will be delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams and the Family Reimagined platform.
Key Responsibilities
Family Onboarding
Conduct the initial onboarding with both parents.
Introduce the Family Reimagined methodology and explain how the process works and who will be supporting them from the team.
Ensure both parents understand the high level roadmap, technology and support available.
Coordinate completion of online inductions and educational modules.
Agree early stage tasks, meetings and dates with both parents.

Strong experience using Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and permissions management, is essential.
Family Communication Hub
Establish and manage communication channels by:
creating the family's group chat with both parents and the Family Reimagined team
monitoring the group chat
responding to process-related enquiries
ensuring requests are directed to the appropriate specialist
maintaining respectful communication standards
identifying issues requiring early intervention.
Family Transition Roadmap
Develop and maintain the family's personalised roadmap by:
scheduling family meetings with their support team
managing the timeline of key tasks & meetings and publish to sharepoint
recording agreed actions and responsibilities
updating progress throughout the family's journey.
Adjust the roadmap as family circumstances change.
Team & Meeting Coordination
Coordinate the family's multidisciplinary support team, including:
Family Redesign Specialists,
Family Financial Transition Specialists

organising Microsoft Teams meetings
ensuring recordings are securely stored
uploading meeting recordings and documents
maintaining complete meeting records
follow up agreed actions post meeting.
Following each meeting, ensure AI-generated meeting summaries, action items and deadlines are reviewed, allocated, published and tracked through to completion.
Family Support
Maintain regular contact with both parents throughout the transition.
Identify when either parent appears overwhelmed, disengaged or under significant pressure and refer to the wider support team.
Provide reassurance, practical guidance and a calm point of contact throughout the process.
